Valley Presbyterian Hospital

Project Brief:
CT scan: Remodel an existing radiological services unit into a CT scan room with a new control room. This project, while small in scope contained a half dozen combination smoke fire dampers and many hidden conditions due to previous alterations requiring many design changes.

Nuclear Med: Complete rooms remodel for the immediate installation of one Nuclear Med camera and preparations for the future install of a second. This project required new HVAC, which necessitated structural modifications and redesign during the project.

R/F Room: Completion of an R/F room remodel and equipment replacement. Including remodels to create ADA dressing and toilet rooms. In addition, the waiting area and reception areas were remodeled for cosmetics and the creation of another ADA toilet room.

Mission Oaks

Project Brief: Radiation Oncology Center
This 10,000 Square foot Camarillo facility has a linear accelerator for radiation oncology and a simulator for modeling treatment zones. The Accelerator room used 6'0" thick concrete walls and a 3'0" thick concrete ceiling to attenuate radiation.

The California Spine Center

Project Brief: Outpatient Surgery Center
This 30,000 Square foot facility is an outpatient spine surgery center with robotic surgical equipment, three operating rooms, recovery rooms, a CT scanner, MRI, therapy pool, "Floating" Conference Room over a creek bed, and other high tech equipment.

Dialysis Center

Project Brief: Kidney Dialysis Center
The Kidney Dialysis Center is a 15,000 square foot facility with exam rooms, isolation room, and administrative functions. The Center consisted of extensive utilities to the treatment areas. A special infectious disease area had to be created and the facility was available for patient use within weeks from the start of the project.

Amgen

Project Brief:
Upgrade a manufacturing building where highly regulated, sensitive and complex biotechnology products were being manufactured. The facility had to remain in operation during construction, remaining "online" and continuing to meet demand for Amgen's biotechnology products.

Los Robles Medical Center

Project Brief:
Remodel and dramatically enhance six operating rooms and upgrade the pharmacy facility while mitigating any impact on hospital operations.

Sisters Servants of Mary

Project Brief: Convent and Chapel
This State of the art 45,000 Square foot ground up facility to include a convent, chapel and dining facility for community of approximately 50 Catholic nuns.

Calvary Community Church

Project Brief: 2,800 seat Celebration Center
This 40,000 square foot steel and concrete Celebration Center/Performing Arts Auditorium with 2,800 seats has an additional 160,000 square foot of tenant improvement space including offices. This defense manufacturing building was converted for religious use. That was accomplished by adding 45 foot bell shaped caissons and interconnecting grade beams under the auditorium. In addition, stadium style steps used foam inserts to reduce weight and cost. The rear screen ceiling projector enclosures are made of foam to reduce weight, and steel tapered grinders were used to create low cost single span over the auditorium.

Broadcast Studio

Project Brief:
The 200,000 square foot facility includes a 10,500 square foot sound recording studio, twelve individual digital editing suites as well as other broadcasting, production, administration and support facilities. Work included hazmat mitigation due to an old garbage dump, site dewatering during excavation, cold weather mitigation during construction, super flat floors installed for robotic cameras and noise reducing construction used for sound stage located next to major city street.

Residential Landslide Mitigation

Project Brief:
Landslide mitigation and repair on a 9 acre hillside in the center of an exclusive high end community in Los Angeles, California. Project work includes 90 foot deep piles, 80,000 cubic yards of excavation and re-compaction and an additional 80,000 cubic yards of import behind 25 to 50 foot high retaining walls.

Convert a pre existing 7,000 square foot medical office building with multiple suites into one large corporate office. The new space includes eight individual small offices, along with a reception area, conference room, a break room, multiple restrooms and a copy center.
